Ui-Sinseol LRT UL000-series
Before reading this section, it is recommended to read the "Brief Intro to Numbering" section on the Trains page.
The UL000-series trains were built in 2015 by Hyundai Rotem. 18 trains were built, numbered UL01~UL18.
The design of these trains are all-new. There are two sets of doors per car, with a two-piece window in the middle. In the interior, there are LCD display screens on the front, back and sides of the car, above the doors. Seats are fully cushioned.
These trains are completely driverless, and feature no driving cabs on the front or back.
These trains are powered by a Mitsubishi VVVF-IGBT unit with an IPM from Hyundai Rotem. It is the same unit used in trains on Lines 2, 3, 9 and the Gimpo Goldline. Power is supplied via third rail.
Trains are two cars long, numbered UL1XX and UL2XX. Both cars are powered.
