Incheon Line 2

IRTC Class 2000

Before reading this section, it is recommended to read the "Brief Intro to Numbering" section on the Trains page.

The IRTC Class 2000 trains were built from 2012 to 2014 by Hyundai Rotem. 37 trains were built, numbered 2x01~2x37.

The base design was built off of the Canada Line trains in Vancouver, which were also built by Hyundai Rotem. These trains are completely driverless, and feature no driving cabs on the front or back. There are three sets of doors per car.

The interior more or less follows the same setup as other metro trains. Two LCD TVs are installed above the doors.

They are propelled by a Skoda VVVF-IGBT unit. Power is supplied through third rail.

Trains are two cars long, numbered 20XX and 21XX. Both cars are powered. In the future, four-car trains could be formed by coupling two sets of trains together.
